SYDNEY 2000

Games of 27 summer Olympiad were held from 15th September to 1st October 2000 in Sydney, capital of Australia.

11 sportsmen of our centre represented the colours of Slovakia,  with two more substitutes for flat water canoeing (Kadnár, Wiebauer). The fourth place of our four-kayak at one km race was the greatest achievement. Flat water canoeing had been the best representative, as far as the fresh Olympic medal holders in water slalom (brother Hochschorner´s and Minčík) have come to our centre only after the Olympiad.
