The National Sports Representation Centre of Ministry of Interior of the Slovak Republic (further SŠŠR MV SR) realizes preparation of sportsmen in selected sports for the top world competitions in cooperation with the SOV (Slovak Olympic Committee) and national associations. Its main task is representation of Slovakia.

At the moment the following top-performance sports (some sportsmen have the statute of the "top-performance" sportsman) are supervised by the SŠŠR MV SR:

boxing, cross-country skiing, flat water canoeing, luge,  shooting sport,  snowboarding, speed skating, water slalom,

and these ensured sports (sportsmen have the statute of an "ensured" sportsman):

 handball, fencing, and volleyball.

Apart from the top-performance sport on the senior level we also support youth categories including the search for and education of young talented sportsmen. Sportsmen performing for us may have the statute of the "top-performance" sportsmen, though they are our employees, or "ensured" sportsmen, without employment, but having their preparation and competitions covered.

During our short history (since 1993) sportsmen trained and cared for our organization have achieved many outstanding results including the European, world and Olympic primacy.
