Speed skating is in care of our centre since the summer 2002. There are 5 sportsmen in our care at present who participate at races in classical speed skating, or so called short track. Classical race track uses to be 30/60 metres long, while short track 25/29 m , or 26/30 metres long. Short track comprises, besides single races, also relay races, while classical race the single races (fix track distance, or combined tracks) and also team pursuit races. Užák and Greschner are top-performance sportsmen.
